The Indians Lost 16-10 in the first round of the FCCAA State Tournament to Palm Beach. The Indians fall to 25-24 with the loss.

Chipola took a 10-8 lead into the bottom of the 7th when the Panthers exploded for 7 runs and didn't look back on their way to the win.

Eric Sauls was a bright spot for the Indians in the loss. Sauls was two for four with 5 RBI, including a two, and a three run homer.

The loss puts the Indians in the losers bracket of the double elimination tournament. They will play for their playoff lives Friday at 10 a.m. against the loser of the the State College of Florida and St. John's River Game. It will be an elimination game for both teams.
