The team traveled west Monday, practiced out there Tuesday and Wednesday, and after today's practice coach Belinda Hendrix says the team is ready to play.

Coach Belinda Hendrix said, "...traveling was great, the team is amazing to travel with, there's always something going on, there's always a laugh. I can tell the freshman are a little nervous, but after practice, you know we just had an hour and a half practice, I think we got some of the nerves out, so now we're just ready to have fun. So hopefully things will go well tomorrow. And we will represent the Panhandle. The girls made it through Panhandle and made it through State so I think we've had good competition to get us ready so we hope all things go well tomorrow."

Chipola's opener is set for 12:30 mountain time, 1:30 central. The Lady Indians are playing for their second National Championship in four years.
