Panama City- Gulf Coast Community College will be playing host to its annual top 100 showcase this weekend. The series brings in the top 100 high school juniors from Pensacola to Jacksonville

The clinic gets started Friday night with a with a cookout and seminar to inform not just the juniors involved, but all grade level high school players about the recruiting process.

The showcase gives the top 100 players around the Panhandle a chance to perform in front of several college and pro scouts. They will also be put in game situations, and complete an extensive baseball workout.

“We feel like it's one of the top events, one of the top showcases in the country.”
GC Head Baseball Coach Mike Kandler said. “We've really go top quality players, and they're going to get great exposure. We're going to have probably forty to fifty schools, and professional teams in here to take a look at these kids. So, it's just really a fun event for us."

On Saturday and Sunday all the players will be divided into 4 regional groups. Each group will go through an hour and a half workout, and following the workouts each region will play 3 games.

    I wonder if anyone reading this comment can tell me what the schedule is for the games being talked about here so that baseball lovers can come out and watch?
