College Basketball

There's news on the local hoops front, recent Arnold grad Nate Hicks.
is asking out of his commitment to Tulane. When Nate signed his letter of intent, Dave Dickerson was the head coach there. Not long after, Dickerson resigned, and Tulane hired Ed Conroy.
Nate took some time to familiarize himself with Conroy, but decided to ask for his release.
Nate's former coach at Arnold James Baxley tells me Hicks has been given a verbal release of sorts, but nothing's official until the paper work is done.
Until he's officially released, Nate can't talk with other schools, but Baxley tells me he knows several big time programs will be lining up to talk to Nate once he's allowed to talk.
