High School Football

To football now and today the first of two days of instruction up at Graceville High School. It's the first annual Champ Camp. The event is the brainchild of Anthony "Champ" Kelly, a Graceville alum who's now the assistant director of player personnel for the Denver Broncos.
Kelly running the camp with the help of area high school coaches like Graceville's Todd Wertenberger and Chipley's Rob Armstrong, as well as some of their former players, now in college ball. More than a hundred kids on hand taking part in the two day clinic. Kelly wanting to make this camp about more than just football instruction, he wants it to help instill the core values of character, heart, attitude, motivation and pride....hence the acronym "champ".
Mark Vaughn will have a more in depth look at this first "Champ Camp" at Graceville coming up Friday night at 6.
