A somewhat outsized Bozeman team takes on Christian Brothers Academy in the first day of play in the Bay Barnstorm Classic.

Panama City, FL--We start with some high school basketball, but not with the game we expected to have to open the Bay Barnstorm Classic.
Thanks to a late cancellation by a team from South Florida, Port St. Joe did not get to open things up at noon today with a game against Bozeman. Instead the Sharks must wait until tomorrow to play their first game in the Classic. Bozeman meanwhile moved to a three o'clock game this afternoon against Christian Brothers Academy out of Memphis. Let's show you some of that action.
Christian Brothers in blue with the early spurt, first it's Chris Deanes from the corner.
Then they work it back to the corner but this time Adam Oko-licany drives and gets the baseline jumper to fall.
Bucks trying to counter, first Nick Gutierez drives and scores.
Then it's Gutierez with another drive this time he goes behind the back to Flowers who gets the roll. 13-9 Bozeman trails. But the overmatched Bucks just couldn't keep up, Christian Brothers ends the half on a 13-oh run, they led it 27-9 at the break and win it
52-21. Bucks play again tomorrow at 4:30.
The next local team in action at Bay tonight is Rutherford, which has a 7:30 tipoff against Dickson County Tennessee. The Chipley and Arnold tourneys begin tomorrow.
