Alabama Loses Fowler to Knee Injury

Tuscaloosa, AL-- There's news on the Tide front tonight and it's not good news.

Coach Saban saying Monday running back Jalston Fowler will likely miss the remainder of the season because of the knee injury suffered while blocking on this play during Saturday's win over Western Kentucky Saturday.

Fowler is the number two back behind Eddie Lacy, who himself has battled injuries since the spring and in August.

The loss of Fowler compounded by the fact he's also used as a fullback and H-back in blocking for Lacy and the quarterback McCarron.

Behind Lacy now on the depth chart, three freshman running backs, and though talent isn't a concern, experience is!
