PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL- The decision's been made for Arnold senior Andre Allen. The running back who rushed for over four thousand yards the last two seasons, including 2,022 yards this past season, is verbally declaring his intention to sigh with Troy University.
Allen originally declared with Ole Miss before the season began, but as the year went on he had a change of heart. This time around he says he's certain, he will sign with Troy come February, and here's why!
"The lack of skill players and kick returners I see, most of 'em are seniors and juniors and I know I can get there and just take over, get playing time my freshman year. Yeah it fit for me, small school. I looked at it, small classrooms, everybody's friendly," Allen said. "Sunbelt, that's not too bad for me. Most of the big schools say I'm too small, so I guess I got to go to Troy and prove myself."
National Signing Day by the way set for February first. Andre will be running track for Arnold this Spring, he intends to head to Troy for the first Summer semester in late May.
