Arnold Advances to Volleyball Final

Panama City Beach, FL---The Arnold Marlins have moved into the final of their 5A-1 district tournament, and they'll take a shot at that title Thursday night against top seed Gulf Breeze.

Arnold hosting that tournament with the semifinals taking place Tuesday afternoon and evening. West Florida beat Rutherford in the play-in match which put the Lady Jaguars into a semifinal against Gulf Breeze.

The second match was the Bay-Arnold semifinal. The Lady Marlins took control early and won the match in straight sets, 25-12, 25-18, 25-13.

Gulf Breeze then beat West Florida pitting the top seed against second seed Arnold in Thursday's final at 6, also on Arnold's home floor.

The video attached shows the following:

-Home team wearing the pink jerseys, starting in the far court here, having already won the first set. They get the perfect set by Alex Dyer and then the spike from Sam Brooks.

-After they swith sides, they go back and forth but eventually it's Bay getting the nice dig from McKenzie Cooper, the set by Marley Peters and the kill from Sierra Burris.

-Arnold though would answer after another good rally by both sides, this point eventually won when Molly Donovan and Brooks get the block at the net.
