Arnold Announces New Baseball, and Other Coaches

PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL-- Arnold has a new group of athletic coaches, with those coaching hires announced Monday by the school's new A.D. Tuesday.

Greg Gumm is the new baseball coach, he's coming south from Hardin High School in Elizabethtown.

Gumm's won over 400 games as a baseball head coach, and is in that state's high school Hall of Fame.

Also announced Monday Arnold's new volleyball head coach Sheryl Heninger who is moving in from North Carolina.

The new girl's basketball head coach is Ray Ezell, who has hoops experience in Georgia and Connecticut, and has been at Arnold the last 7 years, helping out with softball.

And Rachel Watson, another teacher already on staff, takes over girl's weightlifting.

All this announced Monday by the school's new Athletic Director Rick Green, who has been the softball head coach the last 7 years.

Coach Green takes over for Katie McCurdy who left the school to move to the district office.
