Panama City Beach, FL---The Arnold Marlins baseball program is still in the continuation of their search for a head baseball coach.

After speaking with school principal Keith Bland Friday afternoon, he's told NewsChannel 7 Sports that he and the search committee are still working to find the program a new leader after the position was turned down by the Memphis Tennessee-based coach Mike Thees earlier this month.

They've yet to set up any other interviews at this time.

One of the challenges is Athletic Director Katie McCurdy is out of her position at the end of the month. She's already working at her new job with the school district, but is staying involved with the Arnold search to help bring a good candidate in, as Bland says, as soon as possible.

The Arnold principal also saying the AD job will be advertised starting next week, first on campus, then outward.
