Panama City Beach, FL---Arnold is now into the 3A district 2 final Friday night, thanks to a 3-0 semifinal win Tuesday night on the home pitch against Bay.
The Lady Marlins scored in the first few minutes of the match off a corner kick. The ball headed back out only to wind up under the foot of Autumn Jaworski who kicked it past Bay's keeper Tabitha Kitchen.
Later in the half Camrym Means scored the fist of her two goals, giving Arnold a 2-0 lead at the half. Means second half goal would be the only other goal scored in the match, making the final 3-0.
The win guarantees Arnold a state playoff berth and takes the Lady Marlins to 12-5 on the season. And it puts them into the district final Friday against Mosley, which was a winner in the late semifinal over Rutherford Tuesday night.
