Panama City Beach, FL---There's been talk around Bay County surrounding the head coaching position at Arnold High School.

There's been speculation about the possibility of Arnold removing head coach James Hale.

I spoke Tuesday with Arnold principal Keith Bland and he says that talk is just rumor, and he's not made any decision about coach Hale's future.

Refusing to say definitely he has no plans to remove Hale, Bland told me he evaluates every coach and teacher on a year to year basis, and he's not finished with that evaluation in terms of football.

Mr. Bland says if any change is to be made, that decision will be his, and his alone.

Hale's been the only head coach at Arnold, he built the program from scratch, with just four losing seasons in 13 years.

His team coming off a disappointing 2-7 season in 2012. Arnold not alone in disappointment this year, Mosley, Bay and Rutherford all 3-7. Bozeman at 8-3 the only Bay county squad with a winning record.
