Arnold Set to Host Mosley Friday

Panama City, FL--Among the interesting games on tap for our area Friday is one between Bay County rivals Mosley and Arnold at the Gavlak Sports Complex.

That game our Newschannel 7 Southern Orthopedic Specialists Game of the week.

The Dolphins and Marlins with similar tracks so far this year. Both started on the road against traditional big school powerhouses.

Mosley clobbered by Wakulla, Arnold clobbered by Pace. They both rebounded against smaller schools, the 'fins getting a blowout win over West Gadsden, Arnold winning big over Amite out of Mississippi.

Friday night, they'll both be able to get a much better gauge of where they are, and where they need to be!

"Any time you play a county game it's big." says Arnold head coach James Hale. "Especially when you play a huge team like
Mosley. When you talk about Mosley High School I always think about Pace, Niceville. A big school, a lot of kids, great coaching staff over there, first class in every thing they do. So it's gonna be a big challenge for us to play them and we look forward to it. It's gonna be fun."

Perry Brown agrees when it comes to this game being special for his Dolphins.

"It's an important game and I think both squads take it very seriously. It's your first step towards a county championship so. I think both teams, we're pretty evenly balanced this year and it should be a heck of a ballgame for the fans to get out and watch a good game."

That one set to kick off at 7, it will be among the games we feature on Friday Night Overtime so watch for that.
