Panama City, FL-- We start with high school basketball and a district and crosstown rivalry between Arnold and Bay. Coach Grady and his Tornadoes hosting this, their first matchup of the season. Bay in the home white, getting the three point shot to go courtesy David Jones. Arnold answers that, when Blake West ends a sloppy first quarter for both teams with a three point bomb of his own, the Marlins with a 10-9 lead into the second period. Bay again getting a big play from Jones, he gets the steal, then dribbles down and finishes with the layup.
A bit later, 2 more for the Tornadoes when Ricardo Manning spots up and connects on the short jumper, Bay up 2.
Arnold answers again, West again this time from the other side, for three. Then it's a nice pass underneath to Martez Mason cutting to the basket, Marlins had a 19-15 lead at the half, they hold on to win it by 5, 44-39, West leads with 10, Arnold now 5-3 overall, 1-2 in 3-A district 1 play.
