Arnold hits the road for non-district game

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla- Coming off a big district win the Arnold Marlins are getting set for a long road trip to the Cocoa Beach area to take on Satellite.

The fish now 1-1 in district play after beating Rutherford Friday 41-28. That win says coach Hale, a product of a tough early season schedule for Arnold, going against the likes of Pace and Mosley.

"So we were used to physical teams, and I thought we played really physical against Rutherford. And I think that's really gonna help us in the rest of our district games. We pride ourselves on being big, strong, hard working in the weight room and playing physical football. And playing that tough schedule we did I really think has made us better," said Arnold Head Coach James Hale.

Hale believes he's found the right mix in terms of using Eddie Williams, #1 here, and Hayden Deforge at quarterback. And of course he continues to get great effort out of Andre Allen, who leads the state in rushing with 12 hundred 27 yards, and 15 td's rushing, another one here receiving.

After playing at Satellite, it's a bye week, then the final two district games at West Florida and hosting Bay.
