Baulkman's 48 Points Leads Commodores Past Raiders

Panama City, FL---Panhandle play is officially in it's second month. That means for all the talented teams battling, there's no more time for early season excuses. Each team's seen each other and each knows what the competition's capable of. Bring your best. Or go home.

That goes for Northwest Florida and Gulf Coast. Raiders won in January in Niceville, but the Commodores are undefeated at home in conference. And Devon Baulkman plans to keep it that way! He was on fire from the start as he would end up with arguably the finest single game performance in Gulf Coast Hoops history, as he finished with a school record 48 points.

In the highlight's attached above, Baulkman hits three straight threes to put the Commodores lead into double digits minutes into the game.

Northwest Florida would battle back, but Elliot Cole also had it going on offense. He nails the jumper.

Yet still, the Raiders tied the game with less than a second left with a three.

But GC gets the huge win in overtime 87-85 after Baulkman hit the game winning shot with just 2.9 seconds left.

The Commodores now move to a perfect 4-0 at home in conference action. Both they and the women travel to Pensacola Wednesday for their next game.
