Bautista hits 3 homers for Blue Jays vs. Twins

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Jose Bautista has hit three home runs for the Toronto Blue Jays in their game against the Minnesota Twins.
Bautista went deep in the third, fourth and sixth innings on Sunday, two solo shots and a two-run drive to raise his season total to 16.
Baseball's reigning home run champion with 54 last year, Bautista has gone deep 13 times in the last 19 games including four in a span of five plate appearances dating to his last at-bat on Saturday. He grounded out in the eighth on Sunday to end the surge.
This is Bautista's first three-homer game.
He didn't hit his 16th home run last season until May 30.
