Durham, NC---Call it a return home of sorts for Duke senior safety Jordan Byas.
Jordan's a 2008 Bay grad, who roams the secondary for the surprising Duke Blue Devils who come to Doak Campbell Saturday to take on the Seminoles.
Thursday morning, Newschannel 7 Sports spoke with Jordan about that trip back to his home region.
"It's fun, I haven't played anywhere near home so it's gonna be a good time for me to come back to North Florida. I'm gonna have a lot of people at the game to see me play who haven't seen me play in awhile. So I mean I think it's just gonna be a great experience just in general. The atmosphere just in general is great so I think it's gonna be a great experience for me."
Jordan's racked up 48 tackles and two picks so far for the 6-2 Blue Devils. He is double majoring in biological anthropology and anatomy and psychology geared towards a future in medicine, that is if the NFL doesn't call.
