Bay County Teams Meet In Jamboree Friday

Panama City, FL---Five Bay County prep football teams got in a little dress rehearsal Friday night, as they gathered for the spring jamboree.

All five teams with something to feel good about, all five with some things to work on as well.

The first quarter saw Bay beat Bozeman 14-7. The second quarter had Rutherford and Arnold playing to a 7-7 tie. The third quarter saw Mosley beat Bay 12-7. Quarter number 4 had Arnold beating Bozeman by a missed extra point, 7-6. And the Rams beat Mosley in the 5th and final quarter 10-0.

All these teams will continue to work through next week before wrapping up spring drills and heading into the summer workout season.

Quarter number one had Bozeman taking on Bay. The Tornadoes with the ball first and cashing in here, that's Markeis Goodman off and running towards a 40 yard touchdown, 7-0 Bay leads.

Bozeman answers with a nice drive, David Elmore, great play fake, tosses to Ty Luna, down to the one yard line. Fullback Justin Parsons takes it from there and it's tied at 7.

The Tornadoes would score again, this time Travion Bell from 9 yards out and the first quarter ends 14-7 Tornadoes.

To quarter number two, that had Arnold and Rutherford head to head. Rams in the dark uni's, the give to Jamari Barnes down the far sideline, 52 yards to the two, set up a short td run.

After a turnover the Rams have it back, but the Marlins Connor McKenzie picks Dallas Davis and returns it to the 24 yard line.

Sets up this Adam McAfee touchdown pass across the middle to Dustin Haynie, 16 yards, 7-7, that's how that quarter ends.

The third quarter saw Mosley and Bay on the field. Mosley driving first, qb Dillon Brown fires to Nat Dixon, 14 yards. The drive capped by a Brown qb sneak to make it 6-0.

Bay answers, their drive capped by this 10 yard touchdown run by Turrell and Bay leads 7-6.

Mosley answers late, Brown up top, looking for Dixon again, he finds him for the 25 yard score, Mosley takes that quarter 12-7.

The 4th quarter saw Arnold and Bozeman go at it. The Marlins Torri Cotton moving through traffic, finding some holes, a 30 yard score, 7-0 fish. Bozeman answers with a nice looking drive, David McKee with some nice running, 22 yards up the gut there. McKee finishes the drive from five yards out, the point after no good, so that quarter ends 7-6 Marlins.

The final quarter, Rutherford beats Mosley ten zip.
