Bay Gains Championship Experience in Barnstorm Classic

Panama City, FL --- After a first round bye and a dominant win in their semifinal matchup, the Bay Tornadoes are pumped up to play for their own tournament championship this evening.

And if the 9-2 Tornadoes needed any extra motivation, they're facing a Leon team for the title that they previously lost to earlier this season in controversial fashion by only one point. Speaking with head coach Michael Grady yesterday, he told me that playing in important games like this help build teams up when the play for even bigger prizes.

"What you want to do is build a custom of winning," said coach Grady. "You want your young men to understand that every game is different, but every game has different struggles and strategies. But the ultimate goal is to win. We would like them to win every championship possible on their way to winning the state championship."

Bay and Leon will play for the Barnstorm Classic Championship Saturday nightat 7:30 to close out the tournament.
