Bay High Bringing Harlem Wizards Basketball to Panama City Monday

Panama City, FL---Basketball fans or anyone who loves a great show are in for a treat Monday night. Bay High will open the doors to Cobb Gym once again to welcome in the trick shot and alley-oop superstars of the Harlem Wizards.

Made up of former Globetrotters and pro athletes, the high flying squad entertains fans with their play and providing big laughs, too.

They're coming from Harlem to Panama City to raise funds for the Bay High Booster club and, of course, to give everyone a great time!"

"Those guys came out and they do a wonderful show and they get people out of the audience," said Bay boys basketball head coach, Michael Grady. "Most of you have seen the old clips of the Harlem Globetrotters, but I can't describe it, you've just gotta come out and see it. We're happy to bring this to Panama City. We love basketball. We love sports in general and we want to share that with everyone else and we want to put smiles on people's faces."

The Wizards will take on a team of past Bay, Mosley, and Rutherford players, along with other members of the community, and even NewsChannel 7 Sports own Greg Brzozowski.

The show is set to begin 6 PM at Bay High's Cobb Gym.

The Wizards also still has slots available on their trip here to the Panhandle to visit schools to give motivational speeches and give those in attendance a taste for what's to come Monday night at Bay.
