Bay and Mosley Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Panama City/Lynn Haven, FL--- Friday marked a big day for some area student athletes, signing on the dotted line for their collegiate letters of intent.

At Bay, Sierra Burris signed a volleyball scholarship with Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Sierra is a 4-year Varsity Lettermen who started all 93 matches in her prep career, racking up 510 kills, 165 blocks, and 152 aces!

Over at Mosley, the Dolphins celebrated four more signings, one of them in football. Avandre Hardy is bound for Faulkner University.

Tiffany Ramsden signing a diving scholarship with Southern Illinois University, she's the first Mosley student to ever sign a diving scholarship.

And two swimming scholarships going to Taylor Wilder, who signed with the University of West Florida, and Jonathan Ratliff who signed with Florida State University, as one swimmer heads two hours to the west, the other two hours to the east.

"Florida State had been at the corner of my mind in the beginning of the year and over the year it's shown how they're really a rising team and there's a great deal of potential there," said Ratliff. "I'm just really excited to be a part of a young program that's kind of coming up in the ranks.

"It's amazing, I didn't think that starting this year, being my first year, I would get nearly as far as I did," said Ramsden. "Now I'm diving at a division one school so I'm so excited."
