PANAMA CITY, Fla- It's a big week ahead for some area high school programs, as they'll host annual Holiday tournaments. One of them is the 11th Bay Barnstorm Classic, which begins Monday.
"It's a 12 team field, with various sizes, very large 6-A schools from big cities and also a team out of the Miami area." said Bay head Coach Mike Grady. "Very large 6-A schools from big cities all the way down to our smaller schools. In the local area we have St. Joe a perennial 2-A power, we have Rutherford, which is doing well. We have Bay High of course and Bozeman and also Gulf Breeze coming in from the Gulf Coast area. And we're just very excited, we think we have a host of different styles and different teams, teams from different areas, we can't wait."
The tourney runs through Thursday. The Tornadoes just 2-6 so far, perhaps they can build some momentum with a strong showing.
