Panama City, FL--Area prep football teams are currently working through the final week of spring practices.

The Bay Tornadoes working towards a second season under coach Jimmy Longerbeam.

He's working with just about 50 players on the varsity level. He says the kids have had a great attitude in all the spring workouts. In terms of what he's hoping to accomplish in these 15 practices Longerbeam says this.

"Well I think one, we have relatively a new coaching staff so that's a big thing. We've got to mesh out staff together. We've got to find a new quarterback, we feel we need to find that before spring's out. And make sure...a couple of safeties and just continue to work on our offensive line."

Bay will join Arnold, Bozeman, Mosley and Rutherford Friday night in a five team jamboree, each team with two quareters of play.
