Panama City, FL--To prep football and over to Bay, the Tornadoes prepping for some Thursday night action when they'll host the Walton Braves at Tommy Oliver. Coach Jimmy Longerbeam getting his first win at Bay this last Friday. The 5-A Tornadoes struggling quite a bit with 1-A Liberty, several turnovers hurting the Bay cause. Eventually though the Tornadoes making just enough big plays to win that game 7-0. And getting the win, well that's the important thing at this point.

Jimmy Longerbeam
Bay Head Coach

"Oh absolutely, that's the number one goal, to win. I think we're getting better, we played a lot better defensively this week than we did last week. And I thought we had some kids in the backfield that ran the ball well. It's just one of those things we just gotta keep working."

Walton meanwhile comes south still looking for that first win, after losses the last two weeks to Gulf Breeze and FAMU. Bobby Bennett's guys in fact still looking to get into the endzone for the first time, both losses were shutouts. Game time at Tommy Oliver in a couple of nights, 7 o'clock.
