PANAMA CITY, Fla- Thursday night was more than just a homecoming game for the Bay Tornadoes as they fight to keep their state playoff hopes alive.

Bay played host to Gulf Breeze in a Thursday night game at Tommy Oliver. The Tornadoes came into the game with a 2-2 district record knowing another league loss pretty much kills any playoff hopes.

Gulf Breeze converted an early Bay turnover into 7, the Tornadoes looking to respond, they get the big play up the middle from Kevin Husum, 55 yards to the Dolphins 5. Bay then goes into the wildcat, number 2 T.J. Lowder goes around the right side, dives for the corner and gets it, game tied at 7.

Dolphins though rattle off a long drive, capped by this give up the middle to Mitchell DeKozan, 8 yards and the score it's 14-7.

Second quarter now, another drive for the Dolphins ends in a 44 yard field goal by Max McDaniel and it's 17-14.

Just before the half, Bay inside the 30 but Husum's pass is tipped, picked by Holden Tibbs.17-14 Dolphins at the half.

Third quarter, Bay stops a Gulf Breeze drive at the two, and then drives 98 yards....big play here, Husum to Tyree Baxstresser, 36 yards to the one, then Husum scores on the scramble, diving over the pylon, Husum would score on a 35 yard run, Carlos Wells adds a 37 yard scoring run and Bay gets the comeback win 27-24!
