PANAMA CITY, Fla- Principal Billy May says that after 6 one on one interviews Thursday, he and his search committee have hired a new coach.

May did not want the name released, to give that coach some time to return home and inform his current players, which means the new Bay coach does come in with head coaching experience.

May adds this coach was not part of the first search last month, and in fact they found out about him after his name was mentioned by Dale Brewer, the assistant at Pensacola who at first accepted, then turned down the job. Apparently Brewer wanted to bring this coach down as an assistant.

Mr. May says this new coach simply "blew away the search committee". We'll let you know who Bay's new head coach is Friday night, and give you the details on his resume.
