Panama City, FL--We start on the prep football front and some thoughts from the Bay Tornadoes as they get set to head east to Liberty Friday for their second game of the season. Bay coming off an 8 point loss in their opener to Jefferson last week. That the first regular season game for Bay under the guidance of new head coach Jimmy Longerbeam.

Jimmy Longerbeam
Bay Head Coach

"I thought our kids played hard. You can look at the tape and say we made some mistakes you know we had some assignments that we blew. I thought the kids played hard which was real important for us. We're just gonna get better, we're just gonna work at it and get better. And I just think it's execution, we had a breakdown or two on every play, you know those are the kind of things we've got to eliminate because just one mistake will put you at a loss and that type of thing. Other than that I think it's just learning the system and just keep working at it."

The 5-A Tornadoes hoping to crack the win column in a couple of nights when they travel to Bristol to take on 1-A Liberty, which is coming off a big win over Graceville. Certainly a big size difference in this one.
"I'll be honest with ya, we didn't talk about that, what division they were in. Like last week, we knew Jefferson was a good football team, and very athletic. And that's just what we talked about. And this week we're just preparing for the next team, we haven't talked about what division they are and that type of thing."

That Bay-Liberty game set for an 8 eastern time kickoff.
