Bogges Signs with Marion

Wewahitchka, FL--Call Wewahitchka's Beau Bogges a trailblazer if you will.

Beau's signed a wrestling scholarship with Marion Military Academy a junior college in Marion Alabama. That signing coming earlier this month at Wewa High School.

Beau who wrestled for Wewa in the 106 class, had a 27-9 record for the Gators as a senior. He's moving up in weight and will compete in the 126 weight class for Marion next year.

Beau's the first Wewa student athlete to ever sign a wrestling scholarship, and they believe, also the first from Gulf County. He says he's honored to be setting an example that other prep wrestlers may follow in the near future.
