Sand Hills, FL---Jeff Patton and his Bucks, at 19-7, the champs of 1A-4, made their 8 straight playoff appearance Tuesday night opening up the postseason against Northview. in the regional semifinals.
The Bucks lost only one matchup all season long to a 1A opponent, but found themselves down after the top of the first. Alec Aleywine lost control with a runner on third, with the run coming in via the wild pitch.
Bozeman's offense had their pitcher's back, though. The Bucks put up a total of six runs in the first frame, building a lead that Northview would never be able to come back from.
Aleywine recovered strong, striking out 12 on the mound, including the final eight batters of the game, as Bozeman won via run rule in five innings, 12-2.

The Buck's offense answers big time in the bottom half though, bases loaded for Bubba Thompson and he grounds one through the hole to left, that scores Christian Hitt, game tied at one.
Ruddick drives in two more with a bloop that the center fielder drops, another error plates a 4th run, then it's Nick Smitherman with the rbi single to center, Priester scores, it's 6-1 at the end of one.
That's plenty for Aleywine, who goes the distance giving up two runs while striking out 12, including the final 8 Northview batters. 12-2 the final in five.
The Bucks record now sits at 20-7. They'll travel to Chipley next Tuesday in the regional finals, after the Tigers defeated Liberty County 5-1.
