Bozeman Beats Liberty, Earns Second State Finals Berth

Bristol, FL---The Bozeman Bucks are making plans to head to Fort Myers next week and the 1A State Finals. The Bucks playing their way into the 1A State Semifinals tonight with a 6-3 win at Liberty Friday night.

The Bulldogs grabbed the early lead against Bucks starter Brandon Suttles, taking a 3-1 lead into the top of the 4th inning. That's when the Bucks rallied to take the lead against Liberty starter Hayden Swier. Suttles walked to lead off that inning, Delahay followed with a single, and then Michael Cullen grounded one to short, and an throwing error on the shortstop plates Suttles to make it 3-2.

Bubba Thompson followed with a two run triple to left, giving Bozeman the lead at 4-3.

In the top of the 6th Lucas Carter singled home another run and in the 7th, pinch runner Cole Barfield stole home on a double steal, giving the Bucks another insurance run.

In the bottom of the 7th, after catcher's interference negated what seemed like a game ending double play, Garrett Hall comes on to get a strikeout and a fly ball to center to end it for sure. Bozeman wins
it 6-3, they're headed to the state semifinals for a game Wednesday against Chiefland.
