Brandon Jenkins out with season ending injury

Florida State defensive end Brandon Jenkins is out for the season with a foot injury.

The Tallahassee native and Florida High alum recorded 41 tackles and 8 sacks last season. Jenkins strongly considered leaving for the NFL last winter, instead, he stayed in his hometown for his senior year.

Now, Jenkins will have to watch the season with crutches on the sidelines.

If there is a glass half full for this devestating injury, it might open the door for highly recruited defensvie end Mario Edwards who the Seminoles were planning on redshirting for this year.
