Bucks Pitching No-Hits Marlins

Sand Hills,FL---Coach Jeff Patton and the Bozeman Bucks are heading towards their district tournament, trying to keep the momentum they've had much of this season.

Thursday night, their latest challenge was an out of district affair, hosting county rival Arnold.

In the highlights attached above, the action picks up in the bottom of the first. Bubba Thompson who signed a football scholarship with LaGrange College, singles to center, driving home Matt Webb and Nicky Agosto.

An Arnold run in the second made it 2-1, but in the bottom half of the inning, the Bucks adding to that lead. Brandon Suttles lines one past the diving Huey Strickland at second, and scores Austin Priester.

Then it's Webb singling through the left side, Suttles and Alec Aleywine race in to make it 5-1.

The Bucks would add another in the 4th, four more in the 5th, and close it out with a run in the 6th, winning via the mercy rule in the 11-1 final.

Starting pitcher Reid Ruddick tosses 5 hitless innings, Agosto throws a hitless 6th, as the two account for a combined no hitter.

The Bucks pitching has now gone three games straight without yielding a hit, over an 18 inning span.
