There's some good news for driver Kurt Busch and the Phoenix Racing team. Busch confirms he's signed a personal services contract with Tag Heuer Eyewear, that includes some sponsorship for Busch and the #51 Phoenix Chevy.
Tag Heuer will be the primary sponsor for the car in the non points Bud Shootout at Daytona next month, and a partial sponsor for the car in the Daytona 500 and the Kobalt Tools 400 in March in Vegas, which is Busch's home track.
It's not the primary sponsor James Finch is looking for, but it's money coming in, and it's due to Busch.
This comes on the heel of comments today from the King Richard Petty who says the reason he didn't hire Busch to drive his 43 car was sponsors, like Smithfield Foods and Best Buy, wanted no part of Busch until he proves he can behave himself.
