Bonifay, FL---The Chipley Tigers making it a sweep of rival Holmes on the hardwood this month, beating the Blue Devils in Bonifay Thursday night, 66-59.
That allowing the Tigers to finish 1A District 2 play with a perfect 10-0 mark, and takes their overall record to 18-3. Chipley had already clinched the top seed in that district tournament early next month, and a first round bye.

Blue Devils start Chris Walker starting well in this one, in fact he scores 10 of his team's 15 first quarter points.
Chipley 9th grader Trent Forrest though not all that intimidated by Walker's presence in the middle, he goes right at the big guy, gets the layup, three point Chipley lead there 18-15.
Second quarter, Forrest drives baseline again, that won't go, but Kobe Mcrary climbs the ladder and slams it home. Then offers up a little salute afterwards.
And then it's Forrest again, showing some great ball-handling, the spin and lay-up. Walker missing much of the second quarter with 3 fouls.
Third quarter now Blue Devils trying to stay in it, Walker on the break, slams it home with two hands.
Holmes would keep it close, but come up 7 points short. Tigers win 66-59. Chipley now 18-3 overall, finishing a perfect 10-0in 1A district two play.
