Chipley, FL--The Chipley Tigers are moving past the first round of the 1A state playoffs, thanks to a 59-32 home win over Paxton in the region semifinals Tuesday.

The Tigers led from the start and though they struggled to pull away in the first half, did get the win by 27. Alex Hamilton leading the way with 22, Cameron Dozier chips in with 17.

Chipley now 23-3 and riding a 21 game winning streak. The Tigers will play at Malone Saturday in the 1A region final. Malone beating Holmes with a three pointer with 3 seconds to go Tuesday, 50-48 that final.
