Chipola Answers After Self-Given Pressure

Marianna, Fl-- Coach Blake led his Indians into the gym at Gulf Coast toting a 1-2 conference record, they emerged with an 8 point win which put them into a tie with Gulf Coast for second place in the standings.

Monday coach Blake said he felt there was some extra pressure on his guys to get it done Saturday night against Gulf Coast,

"There was, and I think it was more pressure that we unnecessarily added to ourselves after losing at Northwest. I thought our first game after that Pensacola at home, we played really tight and almost played not to lose. I thought that showed in our result. Basically we just wanted to go in there and try to be aggressive and play like we knew we were capable of playing."

Chipola has a quick turnaround, heading to Tallahassee Tuesday.
