In top of the 8th the Raiders scored one on a wild pitch and a Nick Masonia grand slam to get within a run, but Cole Evans works a 1-2-3 9th to save it.

The Indians move to 31-19, more importantly 8-8 in league play, same as idle Gulf Coast. Tallahassee's already clinched the title. The top two teams in the conference earn a berth to the State Tournament next month.

Chipola now heads into a two game set with Pensacola, at Pensacola Friday and in Marianna Saturday.
