Marianna, FL-- Unfortunately for Chipola , the Milton H. Johnson Health Center was not the only court affecting the Indians basketball team this afternoon.

One of their star point guards, #2 Chris Thomas, listed as Mistor Thomas on the roster, will not play in the state tournament. He was granted no bond in his first court appearance after testing positive for marijuana in a standard drug test for people who are placed on conditional release in a pre-trial intervention program.

Thomas had been granted the conditional release and pre-trial intervention late last year after being charged with driving without a valid driver's license and with operating an unregistered vehicle.
