Chipola takes on St. Johns River in baseball

MARIANNA, Fla- On to juco baseball and let's move it north to Marianna, coach Jeff Johnson and his Chipola Indians taking a 9-8 record on to the home field this afternoon against St. John's River.

The visitors on the board first with 3 here in the top of the third, an rbi ground double off the bat of Chipley alum, JoJo Taylor, 1-0 Vikings...
Then it's Max St. Hilaire following with a two run shot over the fence in that coming off Dillon Vitale. 3-0 St. John's
Bottom half of that inning, the Indians offense battling back, man on for Tyler Wilson and the Marianna High alum swats one out to make it a 3-2 game.
But St. John's would add three more in the top of the go up 6-2. Chipola did get a run in the 6th and 2 in the 7th but they fall one short, losing 6-5, that drops their record now to 9-9.
