Auburn, AL---Gene Chizik's decided on his starting quarterback, at least one to start the season with.
Coach Chizik saying Thursday he's going with sophomore Kiehl Frazier, who's edged out junior Clint Mosley for the job.
Frazier played in every game last season, but was used mostly as a runner, rushing for 327 yards, he passed for just 12 yards, with two picks.
Chizik Thursday saying "We expect Kiehl to be a leader for this team and to continue to work hard every day. I am confident in his ability and leadership skills and look forward to watching him progress in both areas."
Given Mosley suffered a shoulder injury in spring, most believed Frazier was going to likely win the starting job, but apparently neither q-b has really stood out in the eyes of coordinator Scott Loeffler, who just Wednesday said both quarterbacks were showing inconsistencies.
