Choctaw and Fort Walton Beach renew rivalry

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla- Choctaw and Fort Walton Beach renew their longstanding Okaloosa County rivalry Friday night.

The Indians are playoff bound, so for them it's about staying sharp, keeping everybody healthy, though no doubt they want a win.

The Vikings are finishing a disappointing season, just 2-7, but coming off a win over Mosley, and no doubt they would love to pull off the upset, and end their year on a positive note!

"That's all we can do right now is try to win our last game, no matter who it was against, but especially being against our big crosstown rival." Viking head coach Mike Owens said. "And use that as momentum into the off-season for the younger kids. And give our seniors something good to remember for the 2010 season.

That game also a 7 o'clock kickoff. Next week, the Indians will open the postseason with a trip to Jacksonville to play Bishop Kenny.
