We start ton the high school football front and with another look ahead to one of two very big ballgames set for 3-A district one Friday night. Bay plays at Choctaw, with Bay needing a win to stay alive in playoff contention, the Indians on the other hand can slam the door on Bay and Arnold for that matter, and clinch no worse than a runnerup playoff berth.
That's because Choctaw's alone in second in district play at 4-1, a game ahead of Bay and Arnold. A big reason for that, Choctaw's won 3 straight league games since losing to Pensacola back on October First. Jesse Adams and the Choctaw passing game has certainly been leading the way to those wins!

Greg Thomas
Choctaw. Head Coach

"It has and our quarterback has been doing a great job of throwing to the open receiver. You know we kind of had to do that, we had a running back issue, we lost our running back for the year, Miguel Paulino. We kind of have to spread it around a little bit and do things differently. But we're happy we're executing on offense and hopefully we can keep that going."

That game at Etheredge on the Choctaw campus set for 7 Friday.
