Florida State gears up for the game against the rival Hurricanes, with a renewed confidence in the ground game!

Last week's opponent is nothing compared to what the Seminoles face Saturday.

To college ball as Florida State preps for the trip south to take on the hated Miami Hurricanes.There's a renewed feeling of confidence in the Seminole ground game, led by Jermaine Thomas who is averaging over 6 yards a carry, with four td's. Jones and Thompson are both over 7 yards per and have combined for another 5 rushing touchdowns.

"We feel good about all three of our backs back there, plus Lonnie, plus Debrale, Matt Dunham, we got a good group of guys back there. And you never know guys are gonna get nicked and banged around especially at the running back position for them to keep stepping up like that is huge."

Saturday night's game will be the 55th between the two, the 'canes lead the overall series 31-to-23, but FSU has won 3 of the last five. Kickoff just after 7 central.
