College football rivalries are renewed this week

TALLAHASSEE Fla,- To say the least it's a big week ahead for college football fans throughout this region. It's rivalry week, as Florida travels up to Tallahassee Saturday, the Tigers and Tide duke it out in the Iron Bowl Friday.

Let's focus on the former for now. The Seminoles keeping themselves in the fight for an ACC title game berth with the win at Maryland.

No doubt they'll do some scoreboard watching as they hope for N.C. State to lose at Maryland, but Jimbo certainly wants his guys focused on the Gators come 3:30 eastern Saturday. FSU looking to snap an 6 game skid against the hated Gators.

"So it's another step, it's another challenge, it's another thing that we have to accomplish," Head coach Jimbo Fisher said. "It's another thing that we have get ready to understand how to do. And it will be a huge challenge. And whether you say, I know Florida's lost four ballgames but Florida's an extremely talented football team. And they got 8 starters back off that defense. And they've had a few moments that hadn't went well, but they're still a very good team. But I think we've gotten much better, it will be a great challenge for us, and we're looking forward to it."

That's a 3:30 eastern start. We'll hear from Urban Meyer tonight at ten, and hear more from the 'noles, Gators, Tide and Tigers all week long.
