Panama City, FL --- In a double header of Gulf Coast action on Saturday, the Commodores took on Pensacola. The men tipped off in the latter game on the day.
In the highlights attached above, GC is down in the first half, but Elliot Cole looks to change that as he gets the tough shot to fall, and one. Though he'd miss the free throw so it's a ten point defecit for the Commodores.
They continue to rally when Devon baulkman knocks down the three from the top of the key. Now the lead's down to six.
Rutherford alum Jon Wade, who must've been happy to hear of his former school's triumpf, he knocks down the shot in the paint to cut it to four.
Then GC works the ball inside to Basil Deveaux as he banks it off the backboard and in to make it a one possession game.
Cole would eventually give the Commodores the lead on a three.
A back and forth game and a tremendous finish. After it was tied at 57 all in regulation, Gulf Coast wins by a final score of 73-64 in overtime.
