Commodores Split Double Header With Raiders

PANAMA CITY, FL- Both the men's and women's teams of Gulf Coast and Northwest Florida were playing for first place in the Panhandle Conference Wednesday.
The Gulf Coast Lady Commodores used a big second half to blow open a 32-31 half time deficit and win 85-56 to move to 4-1 in conference play. The Lady Raiders fall to 3-2 in conference action. Gulf Coast was led by Tamara Taylor with 31 points, and Markeisha Gaitling added 21 in the win.
In the men's game it was a competitive game until under ten minutes left in the game when the Raiders went on a run to win 79-64. Raiders now 4-1 in Panhandle play, and Gulf Coast falls to 3-2. Chad Frazier had 23 points for Gulf Coast, while Teraes had 19 for the Raiders.
