It's still no practice for Mosley running back Deric Carter, who wound up in the hospital after this violent collision with Fort Walton Beach defensive back Chaun Lynn. In fact both players wound up in the emergency room Friday night. Both eventually left the field under their own power, but were taken to nearby Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. Carter in fact spent the night there, diagnosed with a bruised rib, he was in school today but Coach Perry Brown saying Deric won't practice again until after his next doctor's visit with was set for either today or tomorrow. Mosley has a showdown with Arnold Friday with the county title on the line.
Lynn we're told was released after he was checked for an injury to the sternum, x-rays negative, just a bruise. Coach Mike Owens believes he's good to go for the Vikings big rivalry game with Choctaw. Friday .
