Panama City, FL --- Rutherford High School will be the place to be Monday as they will host the quarterfinals of the 5A District 1 tournament in girls volleyball.
The regular season has come to a close, the byes have been assigned, and the matches are set.
Kicking things off at 4:30 will be Choctawhatchee and Bay, facing off in the four-five matchup. The Lady Tornadoes coming in as the five seed and fresh off a win over Bozeman on their senior night.
After that match, Arnold, who just missed a first round bye, will play host team Rutherford in the three-six battle,with that match slated to begin at 6:30.
Semi-finals action is set to begin on Tuesday. The winner of Choctaw-Bay will face the top seed, the 23-2 Mosley Lady Dolphins, who only lost one district match all season to Arnold.
The winner between the Lady Marlins and Lady Rams will face off against 2nd sedded Gulf Breeze Tuesday as well.
The finals will be held on Thursday.
